Frank Young is an Elder and spear artist from Amata in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in the far north of South Australia. He was taught the art of spear making from his grandfather.

Frank is part of Tjala Arts, an Aboriginal owned and managed corporation, that boasts an exciting exhibition program supporting established, mid-career and emerging artists.  This world famous art centre is located in the Amata community, in far north-west South Australia on the APY Lands.

In 2017, Frank in collaboration with his grandson (Anwar Young) and niece (Unrupa Rhonda Dick), won the won the overall prize at the 34th Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (2017) for their multimedia collaborative work 'Kulata Tjuta - Wati kulunypa tjukurpa' [Many Spears - Young Fella Story]. In 2023, Frank was a finalist in the Art Gallery of NSW Sulman Prize with his painting 'Kulata Tjuta'.

Frank has exhibited in Australia and overseas.
